Racing is a sport for the brave and can be called as the perfect combination of man and machine. As a very popular sport in Europe and America, FSC is also well received by college students and supporting the concept of international educational objectives, curriculum and educational model.
In November 2011, Wonder Group signed the sponsorship program with Liaoning University of Technology (LUT) for formula car racing. With the support of Wonder Group, the students of LUT built the first handmade formula fuel racing car at the cost of 0.1 million RMB. Wonder’s racing team participated in the Second China FSC in Shanghai on Oct. 16th, 2012 and positioned No.3 in 8-word ring race. Wonder team further formed new teams of electric vehicle and off-rode vehicle in 2014 and obtained champion of durability award in 2016 Hubei Game and positioned No.2 in electric vehicle team in Japan Game in 2017. Wonder team was named China's most influential team by China Automotive Engineering Society. As the principal title sponsor, Wonder has invested over 1.8 million RMB by the end of 2017.
FSC was regarded as the “cradle of racers and automotive engineers” and the racing team actually provided students with a platform to prove themselves. “The cooperation between LUT and Wonder broaden the way for college students to show talents and bring up technical resource for Wonder as well,” said Mr. Zeng Qingdong, president of Wonder Group.
